We will be hosted by The Mountain Institute (TMI), a beautiful rustic facility set in a stunning mountain landscape. TMI is located on 400 acres on remote Spruce Knob, the highest mountain in West Virginia. They serve up excellent food and company and offer an overall intimate experience in a lovely natural environment. The facility is remote and a long drive to and driveway into the campus on narrow (but mostly paved) roads. The campus is rustic and built mostly of round wooden buildings, called yurts, with gravel pathways between them.

We will share dorm rooms with bunk beds and a bathroom/shower house a short walk away. We will have a cook that will prepare three gourmet hot meals a day that we will share in the community building in the center of campus. Coffee & tea, fruit and baked goods will be available through out the day. The kitchen is also available for personal use. The building attached to the kitchen yurt will serve as our meeting space. Travel by Airport
The closest airports are Pittsburg (PA) – about four hours away and Dulles International (DC) – about 3.5 hours away. There is no public transportation available between the airports and TMI.
